Do you supply or offer lipstick to purchase?
Yes, I stock the Eye of Horus range which is available to purchase or I can provide you with a small sample pot and disposable lip brush of other brands.
Do you recommend a makeup trial for my Wedding?
Having a trial is a great idea as we can discuss the desired look that you would like me to achieve on your special day. Usually 2-3 months out from your wedding is a great time to book your trial. Please allow 1.5hrs for this appointment as we will discuss and create a look that you love. If you do not require a trial that is completely fine, we can discuss what you are wanting and you can also email through any inspirational makeup looks.
What skin regime do you recommend I follow?
I believe that beautiful makeup starts with great skin. Start planning as soon as you can and do your research to find a Beauty Therapist or a skin specialist that is reputable and someone that you feel comfortable with. Using prescribed skin care along with in salon treatments a minimum of 6 months prior to your wedding/event will ensure that your skin is at its best. Remember to exfoliate 1-2 times a week in the evening to refine and clarify the complexion. Drinking plenty of water, maintaining a healthy diet, exercise along with 8hrs of sleep per night will also help rejuvenate your skin.
When should I book for my Spray Tan?
If you are planning on having a spray tan I recommend that you make your appointment two days before your event. Always ask your spray tanner to give a light application on your face. A trial for your spray tan is highly recommended at least two months before your event.
When should I book for my waxing appiontments?
I recommend that you make your waxing or dermaplaning appointment 10 days before your event. When the hair is removed it also takes a fine layer of skin and your foundation will not adhere to those areas as well.
Should I have a lash lift before my event?
Lash lifts can definitely be a game-changer for people who want to enhance their natural lashes. But when it comes to applying false lashes, the curl from a lash lift can sometimes work against you. The dramatic lift could make it harder for the false lashes to blend seamlessly with your natural ones or even cause the false lash to not sit properly.
Should I get lash extensions before my event?
I suggest opting for custom individual false lashes. This allows me to create a tailored lash look that perfectly complements your makeup and enhances your features. Individual lashes blend seamlessly with your natural lashes, giving you a flawless, custom look.
Can you travel to my Hair Salon?
Yes I would love to work within your chosen Hair Salon but I always need to have the approval to do so first from your hair stylist.
Things to remember on your special day.
•Wearing a loose fitted or button top is recommended as you do not want the worry of smudging your makeup or pulling your styled hair.
•Always arrive to your appointment at least 5 minutes early.
•Having cleansed skin and all eye makeup removed.
•If you are wanting to apply a sheet or eye mask before your makeup application always trial these products a month before incase you have an allergic reaction.
•Leading up to your appointment take extra care to hydrate your skin with moisturising, exfoliating and ensure you drink plenty of water.
•Have a wonderful day and create beautiful memories with your family and friends.
